Policy Design/Review

Develop your international Assignment Policy or review your current guidelines to ensure that they meet your business strategy and needs.

Processes

Review assignment processes to ensure that all actions within each step of the Assignment process is handled whether internally or externally. Develop or review templates, checklists etc.

Delivery/Quality

Assist with defining operational requirements and quality measures. Review whether actions should be handled internally or outsourced to ensure required service level delivery e.g. External tax providers, immigration, health insurance, pension, relocation, removal, cultural training, spouse support etc.)

Interim management

Cover a temporary need for managing the global mobility function due to reorganisation, maternity leave, long-term sickness etc.

Training

Provide training within policies and processes, assist with setting-up/ implementing operational issues with internal stakeholders e.g. Local HR, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Recruitment, Talent Management etc.

Communication

Assist with communicating assignment changes whether policy or processes to internal stakeholders.

About me

With a background in a Master in Law and Economics I have for more than 25+ years worked in international organizations handling tax & social security, operational and strategic global mobility issues as well as general compensation & benefit matters.

Worked and lived abroad; managed international teams (2-11 employees) and projects. Dealt with more than 30+ different countries; in corporate, consultancy and public sector in both HQ and affiliate functions.

Fluent in Danish, German and English and operate comfortably in Swedish and Norwegian.

During my career I have worked in & with the following organizations:
Deloitte, Novo Nordisk, Borealis AG, Danisco/DuPont, Carlsberg Breweries, Arla Foods, Schneider Electric, Eitzen Chemicals, Yara International SA, Air-Inc, Mars Inc., KBC, IPM Ltd., Maersk Group, Booking.com, TPAerospace.

I teach International HR Global Mobility at Erasmus University, NL-Rotterdam and at Expatise Academy. I was Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Danish Chapter Lead for 4 years.

I focus on holistic Global Mobility Management combining strategic business needs with organizational and people related elements to ensure operational delivery. I have a pragmatic hands-on approach based on own experience as head of global mobility in international organizations.
